Painting Description:

Done en plein air from a hillock , the painting shows the 2nd tallest tower (73m) of India built in year 1192 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak. In the foreground is another monument in the historical Mehrauli area of New Delhi. Painted in the month of April, one can see the yellow and red silk cotton trees and flowers.
